Dr. Waleed Montasser is a Chartered Waste Manager and Chartered Environmentalist and Occupational Health and Safety Professional with over 15 years in environmental, wastes and resources management as well as the circular economy. Dr. Montasser has worked with various wastes and environmental organisations in the UK such as DEFRA, WRAP and internationally with UNIDO, HP and Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA).

For example, Dr. Montasser was part of an EU Mission to Chile. The Mission aimed to share EU best practices in municipal waste management with key stakeholders. This included meeting with stakeholders and delivering a public workshop discussing the future of wastes management in Chile. Dr. Montasser is now working with local partners in Chile to complete a follow-up project with the support of the EU. In addition, Dr. Montasser is currently working, as a Director of IREEMS Ltd UK, with clients in Morocco and Nigeria in relation to wastes management and resource efficiency.

Waleed has been working in research projects in relation circular economy, such as The ReBus projects (Resource Efficient Business Models) (a Life+ funded project) and currently, is the coordinator of Circular Economy Working Group at RESURBE Project (2014-2016). RESURBE project is supported by UNESCO Chair on Sustainability and aims to help facilitate knowledge to government and universities on the resilience of cities. Waleed was part of E-Waste Extended Producer responsibility working group for Nigeria with stakeholders such as HP, DELL, UNIDO and NESREA. The group aims to enhance the e-waste management in Nigeria. Waleed is currently working on consultancy tasks in Morocco and Nigeria in relation to wastes management and resource efficiency. Waleed published in various national and international conferences as well as per-reviewed journals (e.g. Wastes Management, Resources, Conservation and Recycling). Waleed has a BSc. in Food Science and Technology, MSc. Environmental Pollution Science and PhD in Waste Management.

Dr. Waleed belonge to many international organization such as Occupational Safety and Health Association United Kingdom (OSHAssociation UK) as a Fellow and currently a member of the Board and Executive Direction Operations, based in the United Kingdom.

Engr. Thomas Bismark Boakye is a product from St Augustine's College Cape Coast, Fire Academy and Training School, Ghana Institute of Journalism, Staff College, Institution of Fire Engineers UK Fire Service College UK, Crown Agents UK, IIT Delhi India and University of Ghana . He has worked with the Ghana National Fire Service as District Fire Officer for many years before joining the National Road Safety Commission in 2003 to date. He has worked in six out of the ten regions in Ghana , he has MPH, CMCILT, MIRTE, GIFireE and a member of the West African Road Safety Organisation, He also a FELLOW of Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHAssociation UK). He has lectured in so many conferences both local and international. He is married to Nana Ekua Boakye and they have three children, Maame Panyin, Nana Pokua and Oheneba Poku.

He is currently the Regional Manager, National Road Safety Commission for Western Region of Ghana. Currently, the Regional President of Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHAsociation UK) Ghana Region.

Alhaji Dalhatu Mohammed, the District Head of Azara Emirate Council, as well as the Madaki of Azara been the second in command after the Emir bagged his first degree from the Department of history from Ahmadu Bello Zaria]. He further obtained his Masters Degree in Public Administration from University of Jos Nigeria.

Dalhatu Mohammed Ahmed joined the service of the Federal Government of Nigeria as a Senior Labour Officer and posted to Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, he is presently the Controller of Labour, Nasarawa State. He has attended training courses both local and international including courses in occupational safety and health training. He has attended both local and international course including operational fire fighters course, operational command course, divisional wildfire management course and rappelling training course (British Columbia, Canada), international urban search and rescue operations course (Civil Defence Acdemy, Singpore) and internal crises Management course ( Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College – GAFCSC, Accra).

ACFO Obeng Dankwa Danmena possesses a Diploma in Statistics (University of Ghana, Legon) a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Administration (GIMPA, Accra) and a Masters of Arts (MA) in human resources development (University of Cape Coast).

He has also held various positions in Ghana National Fire Service such as District Fire Officer (Breman-Essiam) Municipal Fire Officer (Cape Coast), regional Admin Officer (Central Region), regional Fire Officer (Ashati Region) Assistant Director (Admin) Deputy Director (Admin) and Acting Director (Finance and Admin)

He is the current regional Fire Officer (Western Region) a position he has held since 2012.

Engr. Anebi Garba Joseph is the 2nd Controller General of Federal Fire Service and a member of both Nigerian Society of Engineers, Fire Protection Association of Nigeria and Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals and Fellow- Occupational Safety and Health Association UK.

The Controller General has to his credit many laurels. Some of them includes Certified Protection Professional, HAZMAT Specialist, Firefighter IV, Safety Officer and Distinguished Service.

With a post-graduate degree in Agricultural Engineering from University of Agriculture Makurdi, Engr, Anebi Joseph Garba has had the opportunity during the past twenty five years of holding progressively senior professional management positions both in Ministry of Works and Federal Fire Service spanning Head of Inspectorate Unit Ijora Centeral Workshop Lagos, Head of R&AC Workshop/Mechanical Project in Bauchi, Head of Mechanical Workshop FMW&H Mabushi Abuja, Head of Federal Fire Service Workshop, Head of Policy Regulatory and Inspectorate Federal Fire Service Abuja, Head of Logistics, Federal Fire Service Abuja and currently the Controller General of the Federation, Federal Fire Service Abuja.

Mr. Daniel Hardy Wuaku worked with various organizations in various capacities before joining the National Road Safety Commission in 2007. He is currently the National Road Safety Commission Regional Director for Volta Region.

Mr. Wuaku holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana, an MPhil Degree in Geography from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway, a Post Graduate Diploma in Road Traffic Safety from Lund University, Lund, Sweden, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, Accra, Ghana. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Public Health Promotion with the Leeds Beckett University, Leeds, United Kingdom.

Out of the loss of a dear Sister through an avoidable road traffic crash, Mr. Daniel Wuaku has developed the passion for road traffic safety and in addition to his role with the National Road Safety Commission, he is involved in Driver Attitudinal and Behaviour Management and Defensive Driving Consultancies as the Chief Executive Officer of GoSafe Drive and Safety Consult in Accra.

Dr. Abraham Tachie-Menson studied in University of Ghana Medical School and Prince Leopold Institute of Tropical, he holds Medicine M Sc Disease Control and Master in Public Sector Management.
